tree planting workshop - 18/06/26

a hands-on event for farmers and landowners

Are you a farmer or land manger interested in planting trees on your land? Join us for a farm walk at Noxon Farm where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the funding and support available for trees followed by a tour of some recently planted sites.

🌱 We'll be covering:
• The benefits of trees on farm, tree species selection and establishment techniques
• An overview of funding opportunities available
• A guided farm walk covering recent tree planting projects on Noxon Farm and Clearwell Estate
• Questions and one‑to‑one conversations with our organisation’s speakers, tailored to your land and plans

The day is practical, accessible and grounded in real experience, supporting anyone considering tree planting as part of a more resilient future for their land. Lunch & refreshments included.

Noxon Farm received a grant from The Woodland Trust to plant trees and transform the landscape.

You’ll have the chance to meet:

  • Will Masefield – Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust

  • Jeremy Evans – The Woodland Trust

  • Will Leabeater – Noxon Farm

  • Polly Anna Harris – Forestry Commission

  • Richie Alford – Wye Valley National Landscapes

Together, this team brings a wide range of practical experience - from woodland creation and funding support to regenerative farming, landscape‑scale nature recovery and long‑term land management. Their shared aim is to help you explore what’s possible on your land and connect you with the right support to make it happen.
